Description

The PA70081 HDMI

Cable Tester is designed to check

and troubleshoot the pin connections of HDMI

(high

deﬁnition multimedia interface) cables. It is ideal for

testing the continuity of each pin of an HDMI

cable

prior to installation on equipment.

Operation

1. Install a 9 V battery into the master unit.

2. Connect one end of the HDMI

cable to the master

unit, and the other end to the remote unit.

Test Results

•If all nine LEDs light up, the cable is deﬁned as pass.

Note: This tester is only suited for continuity tests. It

does not indicate intercross issues or response time

issues on cables or connections.

•If any LED does not light up, the cable is deﬁned as

failed.
